Britton Electric, the largest electrical contractor in Quebec, is seeking an electrical engineer specialized in building construction to join our internal engineering team.

Hours/week 40 per week

Required experience Electrical Engineering: 1 year (Preferred)

Certifications Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and development of residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects.
Preparation of plans and specifications for project execution.
Management and coordination of approvals with municipalities and public utilities.
Technical coordination with construction execution teams.

Qualifications

Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) for at least 3 years.
Technical knowledge:
Quebec Building Code
Quebec Electrical Code
Hydro Quebec standards
Fire alarm systems
Short-circuit calculation, arc flash study, building load calculation, lighting level calculation, voltage drop calculation.
Computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Etap, Accubid, Procore.
Proficiency in spoken and written French, knowledge of English.
