The Electrical Building Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and coordination of electrical projects in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Working closely with internal teams, municipalities, and utility providers, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

Position Summary :
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and development of residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects.
- Preparation of plans and specifications for project execution.
- Management and coordination of approvals with municipalities and public utilities.
- Technical coordination with construction execution teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) for at least 3 years.
- Technical knowledge:
- Quebec Building Code
- Quebec Electrical Code
- Hydro Quebec standards
- Fire alarm systems
- Short-circuit calculation, arc flash study, building load calculation, lighting level calculation, voltage drop calculation.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Etap, Accubid, Procore.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French, knowledge of English.
